My Story
​A former Broadway performer in Les Misérables and Standby for Eva in the National Tour of Evita, Angela has appeared in numerous regional theatre productions. She has been a proud member of the Broadway Inspirational Voices gospel choir for over 27 years, performing on iconic stages including Carnegie Hall, Jazz at Lincoln Center, City Center, Symphony Space, Madison Square Garden, and the Apollo Theater, as well as several performances at the Tony Awards.
Angela has had the honor of singing backup for legendary artists including Hugh Jackman, Mariah Carey, Barry Manilow, Harry Connick Jr., Vanessa Williams, Gloria Estefan, Sara Bareilles, and Stephanie Mills. She has also performed alongside Broadway greats such as Patti LuPone, Liza Minnelli, Billy Porter, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Liz Callaway, Keala Settle, Kristin Chenoweth, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Norm Lewis, Alex Newell, and many more.
Angela holds a BA in Music with a concentration in Voice from SUNY Purchase. She is certified in Levels I, II, and III of Somatic Voicework™ -The LoVetri Method - and is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS), Musical Theatre Educators' Alliance (MTEA), Actors’ Equity Association (AEA), and SAG-AFTRA.
*Somatic Voicework™ is a body-based method of vocal pedagogy that incorporates physical
awareness, aural acuity, kinesthetic development and vocal freedom. It is supported by voice
science, vocal hygiene and medical information. It promotes technical security, stylistic accuracy
and personal satisfaction. It honors the wholeness of healthy vocal use and the individuality of
every vocal artist. It was developed to address contemporary commercial music but encompasses all styles.

Angela teaches a wide range of vocal styles, including Musical Theatre, Contemporary, R&B, Pop, Rock, Folk, Classical, and Gospel. She is committed to staying current with the latest developments in voice pedagogy and regularly participates in professional development programs and workshops to ensure her teaching remains informed, effective, and relevant. Previously, Angela served as the Performing Arts Teacher and Choir Director at the Whitby School in Greenwich, CT. Currently, Angela is the Music Teacher at the Sacred Heart School in
Hartsdale, NY.
